TLDR:
I would like to be able to put ghost items, like in a chest, in my player inventory to create a one-time logistic request that dissapears once completedWhat?
By pressing 'Q' on almost any item in the game, you can put a ghost of that item in your cursor. This can be used to place ghost buildings, or place ghost items. The logistic network will then endeavor to fill the request, and once it is done, the request is gone. This can be used to manually fill assemblers from the map view with bots, kickstart power production on other planets, and shift items around on space platforms effortlessly. My suggestion is to allow the player to put those requests in their own inventory, so that they dont have to set up permanent logistic requests with multiple button presses.
Why?
I often find myself in situations where I wish I had a stack of some item, but dont want to sacrifice the inventory space to keeping it around all the time. It would really help keep things smooth if this was something players were allowed to doExample:
I need heat pipes so I can hand craft some heating towers here, but I dont use heat pipes often enough to warrant carrying them around all the time. I don't want to go through the process of setting up a request every time I want some, just to delete it again it would be nice to simply be able to eyedropper the pipe on the ground, and left click in my inventory to request a stack right then and there.
