I just noticed that one of my inserters was stuck on 'waiting for source items' on a full belt. Probably because right opposite was another inserter trying to drop an item on that same belt and that one was stuck on target full. I think maybe they were waiting for each other. I could solve the problem by placing another inserter right next to it.
EDIT: I just found the issue: all items on the belt had more than normal quality!

only whats weird is that the dots are not visible on the items on the belt. Isnt it normally the case that you'd see those dots?
