Equipment resistance Boost API Feature request?

Equipment boost resistance values API Feature:

Would like to hear if it's possible to get an API feature where inserted equipment can have additional resistances applied to the armour the character is wearing. Example, wearing night vision goggles would apply an additional electrical resistance value added to the equipment?
