Interplatform Logistics - Orbital Trading platform - Help

Okay, so I got very excited about the ability to move items from platform to platform with 2.1. As every planet is 1 stop from Gleba, I have put an orbital platform above Gleba to act as a giant trading hub. Each planet then has a supply ship that just goes between it's home planet and Gleba. So the Vulcanus ship takes Tungsten plates, Foundaries and Big Mining Drills to the Orbital platform. The Orbital platform has a request for 2000 Tungsten, 100 Drills and 100 foundaries. Ok, so that all works great.

However when the Nauvis ship arrives and says "I want 50 Big Mining Drills from Platforms around Gleba", the Glbea platform says "Well you can't have any of mine as that would take my number of drills below 100". So the Nauvis ship has to hang around until the Vulcanus shuttle turns up again, and as the Gleba pltform has all of the resources it wants, the Vulcanus shuttle will happily transfer the Mining Drills to the Nauvis Shuttle. However this means that the nauvis shuttle will hang around over gleba until the vulcanus ship arrives, and if it wants supplies from Fulgora and Aquilo as well, it might be there for some time waiting for the individual shuttles.

Is there any way of setting the various options to allow a space platform to act as a giant market? At the moment my Giant Gleba platform is just accepting resources but never passing them on. At the moment the "bring stuff from Vulcanus " shuttle is acting like a provider chest, and the "bring stuff home to Nauvis" shuttle is acting as a requester chest, but I can't make the Gleba Orbital platform act as a buffer chest, it is also acting as a requester chest.

Hey There, I ran into the same problem today. I tried setting and un-setting the request of items from the transportation platform based on a timer to enable gettings item from the other platform and then offloading to the planet surface. But when setting the requests with a circuit i cant also set the item origin (e.g. "platform" at the same time, it just requests the items from the planet.

The other way around works though, buffering items coming from the planet and sending to other platforms. Seems to be a requst/send priority thing.
