[2.1.8] Steam Deck Bumper Keys Stick

I noticed that in 2.1.8 the right and left bumper keys tend to stick more than stable. I notice they stick typically when using key combinations to enter chat mode or map mode. The only way to unstick the keys is by pressing the Steam button.

The main symptom is that I will be press other keys the game will respond as if the left or right bumper keys were still held down and I pressed the new keys leading to unintended combinations. I mainly notice this with R2 but sometimes it seems like L2 is also stuck.

This resolved after resetting my controls in game. Another strange symptom is that I could push the "f" key when in chat mode.
