Updated to [2.0.77] on Ubuntu 24.04 and now the game is slow and unplayable

Updated to [2.0.77] on Ubuntu 24.04 and now the game is slow and unplayable

Hi Guys,
As the title says, I am using ubuntu 24.04 and have recently updated to Factorio [2.0.77] and the game has gone from being perfect to slow, laggy and unplayable. What do I need to do to get things back to how they were? Please help!
