[2.1.8] Placing ghost belts in map view delets underground belt

Post by J_B_der_Held »

What did you do?
In map view I dragged the ghost belt over the following belt assembly, from top to bottom.

What happened?

It was updated to the following result, and the underground belt at the bottom was deleted (removed from the game/not marked for deconstruction). In character mode, for the same action, it is added to the inventory.

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!

For the action in map mode, to not remove the underground from the game but to mark it for deconstruction or something else that does not simply delete the underground item from the game.

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
It always happens, even with different belt tiers.

I think this is a duplicate of 131868 (or if not quite a dupe, it's very similar).

After looking at 131868 i would say it is at least related, especially to the second version of the problem, which is the alternative discussed in that thread.
