Why ?
TL;DR: The "drop to planet" menu is hard to use when there are MANY planets in a mod. Let's allow searching by name and/or drop to current location.
The drop to planet menu is fine in vanilla.
But as soon as a mod adds multiple planets, or multiple planet mods are installed, it becomes less convenient. You have to scroll... and that can be annoying, especially if you just are at the space location right now and want to drop there.
I'd suggest making two changes :
1) Add a search field. -> Instantly find the space location you are aiming for
2) Display the current space location (if any) on top / Alternatively, add a button "drop to current planet" or something with similar functionality.
