[2.1.7] PoC module-efficient bot mall

This board is to show, discuss and archive useful combinator- and logic-creations.
Smart triggering, counters and sensors, useful circuitry, switching as an art :), computers.
Please provide if possible always a blueprint of your creation.

[2.1.7] PoC module-efficient bot mall

Post by h.q.droid »

With the new input/output separation, I'm able to make a tiny bot mall that should be able to produce most non-chemistry stuff using only 13 productivity modules and 1 beacon (which you could substitute with quality stuff with great gains):

The constant combinator near each producing machine sets the output demand *for that machine*. Each of the 3 arms can be removed independently. The combinator "code" is mostly identical so it should be easily extensible. It doesn't do any chemistry or fluid stuff right now so make sure all your demands work under the same fluid connection. The copper melter is for labeling purpose only and can be moved.

This is mostly a proof of concept and has some stability issues when heavily speed-moduled, but it can auto-detect productivity configuration and avoid losing fractional productivity whenever possible. It's also designed to utilize the tiny amount of quality stuff you get early game: you can maximize profit from your early quality modules / beacons by reusing the same machine for everything.
