What did you do?
I placed a power pole (wood), connecting a powered pole (wood) and unpowered pole (wood). The unpowered pole had been placed on a blueprint space where a metal power pole (the small one) had been a ghost.
What happened?
My entire machine restarted
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I expected the power pole to be placed and for my machine not to restart
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
I am submitting this report immediately after it occurred.

Re: [2.0.76] Crash when placing power pole
Thanks for the report however the log file does not show any kind of crash. That, combined with your system restarting says this is a system instability issue and not related to Factorio. You'll have to figure out what's broken (hardware or bad drivers).
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
