Let techs modify buildings (mod support)

Let techs modify buildings (mod support)

I've recently started looking seriously into modding, especially making more tech mods. And I have a bunch of cool ideas for things techs could do, but the current API doesn't support the one key tool to make them happen.

Please allow techs to modify building stats. Even if you need to say one stat at a time for one building at a time, that can still be extremely powerful as a tool for modders. (Alternatively, give us the option to have techs trigger scripts that can update building stats at runtime, or similar.) Doesn't even need to be every stat, if that's a pain to implement - just some basic ones like crafting speed, power production/usage, inherent productivity, inventory slots, etc., would already be very powerful.

Also, if there's any way to change the issue with GiveItemModifier where it gives the items again every time you update any mod packs, that'd be cool too.

I can see how this might be difficult for the developers to implement, though.
If you want to see the mods I've made, press one. If you need me to update a mod to 2.0, press two. If you're looking for QA, press three. If you've been waiting over 1 and a half years for Digital Age, bad luck.

Oh yeah, I would put money on this not being easy.

But I figure I'll make the ask, and then they can judge it for themselves. If it's not practical, I'll understand, but it's worth a shot. Maybe it'll be easier than I'm afraid of.
