I think that the editor is commonly used by most of the users for testing and developing new designs.
Ignoring tile placement rules makes it easy to accidentally create designs that do not work in the normal game.
And as far I can see in other forums, this confuses some users not understanding why their blueprints cannot be placed while working flawlessly in the editor - we also had a few discussions about this topic here.
If someone needs this option and actively searches, it can be easily found, while I think this is mostly not needed and only causes confusion.
So I would arrage for having this disabled by default.
I see that the idea is to have most of the settings enabled by default. But some settings, like global eletric network, are already default-disabled for simplicity or gameplay compatibility reasons.
Have ignore tile conditions in the editor defaulting to off.
