Factorio version: 2.0.76 build 84451
Platform: Windows
Mods: Only standard space aged mods are used. Some modes are only downloaded.
What did I do?
I was playing normally in this long-running (700 hr) save. The crash does not seem to require any specific player action. Even if I just let the factory run without doing anything, the game eventually crashes.
What happened?
The game crashes unexpectedly during normal gameplay / while the factory is running
What did I expect to happen instead?
The game should continue running normally without crashing.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
It usually happened while the factory is running without doing anything, especially in long-time (3 hours up) idle.
Additional notes:
This is a long-running save (700 hours). The crash start from 03/2026. The crash become more frequent when the factory become larger. The memory usage of blueprint is 247 MB.

Re: [2.0.76] Crash (Inserter::tryToGetToSleep)
If you load the save you provided and let it run without doing anything, when does it crash and does it crash always at the same time?

Re: [2.0.76] Crash (Inserter::tryToGetToSleep)
Thanks for your reply. I have tested about the crashing time.
The previous one run about 1 hour than crash, and follow up one run about 3.5 hours than crash.
The another test shows that 3 hours playing and 30 mins idle than it crash.
The new attachtment for the another save game.
This save game is the latest autosave(5 mins) that before crash. I idle it for several times, only once it crash after 2.5 mins, however, in the follow up testing, it didn't crash at the same time.
I have tested the previous upload save too, however, it work fine for 8 hours while I'm sleeping.
Noticed that the rps of upload save have drop from 100k to 10 k due to the unexpected accidient, I think the loading of computer might affect the crash happen since it getting worse while rps getting larger.
It fit the same pattern that it is unexpected, it could be crash suddenly when expanding the factory, it could also crash anytime when afk.
The log file always shows unexpected error occurred since 03/2026, so I thought it should be same trouble.

Re: [2.0.76] Crash (Inserter::tryToGetToSleep)
Your second crash log is a different and unrelated crash to the first one. That, combined with the random nature of the crashing says you have unstable/failing/failed hardware. The most common causes being RAM followed by CPU.
There's nothing we can do to make unstable/failed/failing hardware work correctly - you'll have to identify what the hardware issue is and get that fixed.

If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
