[2.0.76] Display panel message resets on setting icon

TLDR: Setting the icon in a display panel discards text changes that occurred since last opening it.

Steps to reproduce

1. Place a display panel
2. Open the display panel and type in some text
3. Set an icon

Unexpected outcome

The text disappears. If there was already some text before opening the display panel, the text is "reloaded" discarding all changes that occurred since opening the interface.
