This feature allows you to configure the spoil rate within an infinite chest.This means you aren't limited to testing under sterile, ideal conditions; instead, you can simulate a scenario where the input stream contains 10% spoiled items to observe how effectively your layout performs.
However, I would also suggest adding an adjustable spoil range—specifically between 20% and 30%—to allow for even more comprehensive testing.
