Very long loading time when any mods are enabled [2.0.76]

I am running on Bazzite via Steam.

Here are the specs:

Operating System: Bazzite 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.25.0
Qt Version: 6.10.3
Kernel Version: 6.19.14-ogc1.1.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor
Memory: 64 GiB of RAM (62,7 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6800

I tried disabling all mods and loading and it takes about 15 secs if that.

When loading with mods enable i have to wait for 10 minutes. it goes to running entity setup and just stays there for 10 minutes doing nothing. i can hear the ingame music playing in the background. Tried to disable all mods and enabling them 1 by 1.

it was fine for the first few and then it started taking 10 min to load again.

i went back and disabled the mods that i had enabled on the latest reload and the issue persisted.

Running on an SSD.

Any more tests i could do to try and understand what is causing the issue?

It looks like the issue is caused by mod `Drox-Regenerative-Walls` which takes unreasonable amount of time in its on_tick handler. Its mod related issue.

Seems to be fixed now. any chance you could explain how you found the issue?

would love to be able to troubleshoot something like this on my own.
