I have a mod that connects to electric networks (usually by connecting a copper wire to a pole). On a space platform, there is the global electric network so I want the entity to connect to that automatically if it is built on a space platform.
I can determine whether there *is* a global electric network and I can create and/or delete it. But I have not found a way to *find* the network id or connect an entity (in this case it is a power switch so I want to "connect" one end of the switch to the global network).
Is there a way to find the id of the global network for a surface?
Access to the global electric network on a space platform
Re: Access to the global electric network on a space platform
Power switches can't connect to nothing. They only support connecting to electric poles. Functionally: they do not apply or interact with "global electric network"s.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

IIRC building a powerpole connects it to the global network, so you should be able to connect it to that
pY and pYblock developer, wielder of fluid networks and subtick events in arbitrary ways. I make mods. Check them out, maybe.
