When assigning a station to a train schedule with shift + left click. It only works if you are zoomed out (map view, not remote view). If you zoom in the button combination does nothing or if you had copied a station name beforehand the shortcut to assign a schedule will paste the station name into that station instead of assigning the station to the train.
steps to reproduce.
1. Make a short horizontal train track with two stations and a locomotive
2. (optional) Name the stations "Left" and "Right"
3. shift right click on the station called "Right"
4. left click on the locomotive to open the locomotive UI.
5. do not zoom (you are still in map view) and shift left click on the "Left" station
6. the station is added correctly to the train schedule
7. zoom in so that you are in the remote view (you can see the sprites)
8. shift left click on the "Left" station
9. the station called "Left" is now renamed to "Right" instead of being added to the schedule
What is supposed to happen is that regardless of zoom level when you have the train view open shift + left click on a station will assign the station to the schedule. When in train view it should not be possible to copy paste stations since they share the same button shortcut. It is really unintuitive that a behavior is dependent on the zoom level.
I want it to be: 9. the station "Left" is added to the schedule the second time.

Re: [2.0.76] Shift + left click only adds train stop when zoomed out
I'd call this more a "will not fix" since it is really unintuitive behavior, map zoom level should not effect how a button shortcut works.
Re: [2.0.76] Shift + left click only adds train stop when zoomed out
In older game versions you had to explicitly switch to and from map view and no amount of zoom level changes would exit or enter the other. These days it auto-switches as the zoom level changes so when you say "map zoom level should not effect how a button shortcut works" it's a misunderstanding of what's happening. You are *not in map view* anymore when you zoom in. You are now in standard remote view. As such, the map-view shortcuts are explicitly disabled.

One option would be to disable auto switching by zooming in to remote view when the train UI is open to make it impossible to accidentally rename a train station.
