Train overview -> train groups -> set manual/automatic all trains in this group

Post by Green Cat »

Title.

Any train not in a group to also have their own group, why, because if we need this feature on them it means they are not supposed to move/not move plus for fun..... and relevant to what i will add

If we used mods or similar to add more trains, it can be difficult to mass replace the train. However, via blueprints + bots deconstruction we can can automise this.

However this still does not change that anything happens, anything we do, if we don't have a blueprint with fuel, we need to manually "start" each train. And/or in case of some massive issues where a group of the train is causing isses.

This means that what i suggest is actually adds something else, let's say you added an interupter, but did a mistake, now you need to manually remove it from all trains if it's not possible to "fix it". But via the on off we are actuall reseting and removing the temporary stations.

This would further allows us to automise many instances via on off a whole group of trains.

Also, FUEL. Insted of adding interupter for each and every train group, why can we not just use the train overview and there we add the interuptor for the fuel, for each of the train group since, like this, we can have further control over what fuel, what not, and when we create interupters, we don't need to even add the fuel everywhere (aka if flue is more then x then do this temporary task) for the trains.

And if this UI or whatever it's called is added, this means a new element where mod makers can add even more elements.

As an exemple, each train group, if we tick an optional tick box, will use a blueprin version of a train. This means if we add filters for the wagons, or the type of the train (due to mods adding more), all trains in this category, will trigger the "need to be upgraded", giving us the ability to use mutiple trains (again, mods add), since "upgrading" them can be automised just how we do with the belts and such.
