[2.0.73] Crash with full Pyanodon's suite

Place for things which are bugs but we have no idea how to solve them. Things related to hardware, libraries, strange setups, etc.

[2.0.73] Crash with full Pyanodon's suite

Post by notnotatschool »

I've experienced two crashes in about an hour in a save file. It has the full suite of Pyanodon's mods, plus Py hard mode. Each has its own log file attached (numbered).
Autosaves before crash: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bVQ11W ... sp=sharing (1) and https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qcyZsG ... sp=sharing (2)
The respective log files are also attached.
Both crashes occurred when I was AFK. I was unable to reproduce the crash either time. I suspect that the crash might be related to caravans, the lizards that trundle around the map, as the only entities on the map that act intermittently like that.
The mod list is also attached.

Thanks for the report however the two crashes are unrelated and in places that execute hundreds to thousands to tens of thousands of times per game tick.

Neither are related to anything mods are doing. One is updating transport belts and the other is a crafting machine finishing crafting.

All of that makes me suspect failing/failed hardware. Most likely bad RAM but possibly a failing CPU, or bad overclocks.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Thanks for the analysis. This reminded me that a couple of previous bug reports have also been analyzed as being hardware related. Wish that was something I remembered before I uploaded the next one
