The thread in question is this one: viewtopic.php?t=132529
As a thread in the "Game Help" subforum, the question I made the thread to ask has already been thoroughly answered, and discussion therein has nowhere productive left to go. It is devolving into nothing but a trash-talk put-the-other-person-down argument fest between myself and user mmPI.
So, yeah. I'd appreciate it if the whole thing could simply be locked against further replies. The thread has served its purpose. Please feel free to end it with a note that you're locking it at the original poster's request if that seems appropriate.

Re: Moderator Request for My Thread to be Locked.
The “Report Post” button (Exclamation Point ! in the top-right corner) can be used against your own Posts, and allows you to include a Comment that is visible only to the Moderators, eg “request to lock because this thread has gone off-topic”. You can also add users to the Foes List in the User Control Panel to hide a given user’s posts from your view. This helps with folks who reply only for engagement, rather than constructive discussion.
Good Luck!
