This is for 2.1 I think. And I think the question was about the Space Age on switch 2.
Yes, scrolling up it does seem that that's what he was asking. The quote was indeed about 2.1.

I meant the release of Factorio on the Nintendo Switch 2 along with the Space Age expansion.

How about a comeback of the cut Aquilo aliens?
I have been curious about those since their original concept art.
(Although I'd assume we will never see them, due to gameplay trouble)

I'm excited to play Space Age again! I really want to play without being temped to do the LDS shuffle. I've done it both times I played since it's just so powerful.

The Switch 2 Edition has been dated for December 22 release on the Nintendo eShop, but the Space Age expansion is not listed on the eShop yet. Are these still planned for a simultaneous release?

I assume so, but just wondering.

Space Age is now also in the US eShop: https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/produ ... -switch-2/

Somehow the whole Switch 2 upgrade is not visible yet in the European eShop: https://www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Search/S ... o&f=147393

There is no information about joyCon-mouse support in the description. Are you guys gonna add this feature later?

Thank you for creating such an amazing expansion with Space Age. We all really appreciate how much you have put into making it even better with all the bug fixes and the gift of a 2.1 release to make it even better. While you might want to try something new, I think you probably would be amazed by how many people would be willing to buy a 3.0 release.

In the mean time, I hope you are still open to ideas for your next milestone. Here are some frequently requested ideas: https://www.reddit.com/answers/71719e6b ... orio%202.1

Others I have seen:
- storage chests should be able to trash items like logistic chests once the item is assigned
- chests should be able to filter items like cargo wagons and chests should come in wider sizes so that we don't have to do clunky cursed train or car designs https://youtu.be/SmAZB_yPVbI?si=S5keNVV9ABtapAY2
- inserters only supporting 90 degrees when the game has more advanced technologies is silly. We also should be able to insert on either side of the belt. Yes there are mods, but this should be built-in.
- belt compression stackers. They can be big and clunky to ensure they aren't abused. Think of a double inserter plus chest.
- Everything should be able to use circuits.
- Enemies shouldn't be like our machines where everything is the same. https://mods.factorio.com/mod/entrenched-enemies. They should also be more varied. Make mid to end game more interesting. Yes there are mods. The baseline needs some work.
- There should be a better difficulty system built in https://mods.factorio.com/mod/Space-Age-Hardcore-Mode. Force me to visit more planets or go to the outer edges to unlock higher tiers.
- Games should be fun. More QOL style mods such as even distribution, auto deconstruct, filter helper, rate calculator, etc. should be built in. https://youtu.be/2onxJwvvjbg?si=ckZym1U9HZ4fwGOc.
- We should have more advanced machines for Nauvis level science after visiting other planets. Your typical solve has been bigger machines. Perfect! That forces new designs. But there are also odd choices like bricks not being able to be made in foundries.
- If trains are a problem... Require double and triple tracks so that we can have a bigger locomotive and wagon. Require a different set of tracks. We should have enough technology to advance our train and robots so that they can leverage fusion by the end of game. Make us travel to get higher quality ore fields. Have us combine ores to create higher quality ores. Make rails world mean something not just on Nauvis. They also should have a grid.

2.1 doesn't need to be wild. Just round our what you had. Save the big stuff like more planets, moons, stars, and asteroids that are gas, acid, water, underwater, gravity, and underground based for the next DLC. You can add preliminary hooks for some of this now if you feel it helps. Seriously. We will preorder today for a 3.0.
