[Klonan] [2.0.14] Locomotive equipment grid access is hard to find

Problem:
If a locomotive has an equipment grid, it can be difficult to know or access it. Contrast this with a cargo wagon, which has a dedicated tab for equipment.

To access the grid, players need to drive the wagon (physically or remotely) and then click the grid button in the lower left of the screen.

I see that accessing the fuel tab also opens the locomotives equipment grid, but this seems counter-intuitive and different from how cargo wagons work.

Solution:

Add a grid tab to the locomotive screen. Like the fuel tab, this is specific to each entity unlike the train schedule.

Additionally, I would like to see locomotives be given an inventory if equipped with bonus inventory equipment.

Thanks for the report,

Since we have the new equipment grid button (e.g in the car and spidertron GUI), we decided to use that type of button as the access to the equipment grid.
The solution with tabs is slowly being disused in the game, as it presented many problems in some places.
Additionally it wouldn't work for the train as the access to the inventory screen is elsewhere.

Heya,

to add to this, when you access a equipment grid on a locomotive (via fuel) you can only move equipment in, not out. Selecting the item toggles them on or off (with a big red X mark).

If you select the grid equipment grid via the bottom left grid icon when piloting a locomotive, the equipment grid works as expected.

You’re only meant to be able to add or remove equipment when within physical range of the locomotive however it sounds like it lets you insert regardless of distance when it shouldn’t.
