I've noticed a lack of inter connectivity between planets. Essentially you must choose which planet will produce science and which on will be idle until you beat the game.

There are virtually no technologies that have more than 2 out of 3 planet researches before Aquilo, only rail foundations. And there are no infinite researches that require more than 1 out of 4 planet researches after Aquilo, other than railgun upgrades. Only research productivity consumes all research. For the first half of the game your factory will consume all research produced, 100% factory up time. But once you start producing your second planetary science, you can only consume one planetary science at a time, 66% factory up time as 1/3 planets is not producing. If you get vulcanus, fulgora, and gleba science your factroy is operating at 50% as 2/4 planets are active. Only at Aquilo does your factory turn on to 100% again for the finite aquilo research. But there is no ininite research at requires all 4 planetary science, 40% factory up time as 2/5 planets are active with infinite science.

My suggestion is to add more shared researches between planets and infinite researches so the factory remains at 100% function. Either specialized tools/items or another tier of buildings requiring muliple planets worth of materials. IE. a lightning module that allows you to charge batteries with fulgora lightning made with holmium and tungsten and calcite. Engine productivity requires metallurgic and electromagnetic science
