TL;DR
Increase external roboport charging slots with a better roboport.What?
Increase the slots for active recharging by robots, to increase their efficiency.Why?
Why? well, when you run a megabase, and your drones pile up like flies to shit on your roboports, the entire idea of the roboport goes away. Especially since you can fill up your inventory with the items needed for a BP, go there yourself and have your personal drones build everything in a jiffy, as long as you have power.
Can I circumvent the problem myself and without any major problems? ofcourse I can, since I can just use epic or legendary roboports (faster recharge rate) all over the map. But once I upgrade my robots to equal or higher tier, the problem returns, they can just fly further, before they pile up. So with ports and robots legendary, the problem persists. same recharge time, since the ports can recharge more, but the robots requires equally more power to get "filled up".
Which gave me the idea for a new, same sized, same coveraged area roboport. Pricetag could be 5 regular roboports and some SA materials like superconductors, tungsten plates etc etc, to get a roboport with 10 slots and 50% increase to power charged.
Should definately keep physical size and covered areas as the original one.
Something along the line of the big (not the yellow one) roboport from the K2 mod. just a tweaked version of it.
