2.0.66 (build 83840 expansion, linux64)
Bazzite 42
Updated local server and steam game to 2.0.66, and i am flying to the shattered planet, and currently flying back. I have both crashed my game, and desynced from the server. The server continued without a hitch.
I couldn't say what I did or didn't do to do this as I was tabbed out both times for over 30 minutes as i'm simply waiting for my ship to fly me back from the shattered planet. I am the only one online both times the game errored.
Attached is the report file, save, and log: https://drive.proton.me/urls/M351G7J60W#4VeS1zmS1C1W

Looking into the desync report it seems to have quite a lot of things reporting different. Were you ever able to reproduce this with any more reliability?
I'm currently trying to run the save file for 35~ minutes locally to see if it desyncs for me (but so far it's working fine).

If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Re: [2.0.66] Desync in Space Age
To answer your question, I figured out the problem and only recently >.<
Something in the game triggered the problem but wasn't the game's fault. My ram had XMP on at DDR4-3400 (is rated for 3400), which i never took as a problem because my pc would run fine 99.99% of the time, then randomly would crash. Sometimes with Factorio, or other games. So I did a memtest for kicks and giggles, and the ram errored only on the modulus phase... so I clocked it down to 3200, and my system has been working without a hitch since.
Is there anything I should do to mark this post as resolved?
