What happened: By chance, I happened to notice that this crash happened around the same time as the nukes inside the spidertron were set to spoil. Used the debug option to show game tick, found crash happened consistently at tick 813790, exactly when nuke spoilage timer hit zero. Loaded a save from about two minutes prior to crash, removed nukes from spidertron, game was able to pass tick 813790 without issue.
What I expected to happen instead: Not crash the game. Other weapons and ammunition are able to spoil while equipped on the *player character* without issue (the attached save has the character armed with an empty barrel), and I would expect the same to happen for the spidertron. I have not tested with other vehicles.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes: Every time, at precisely that tick, but only when the spidertron has equipped the nukes. Removing them from the ammo slots prior to spoilage avoids the crash.
