Whenever I exit the game it hangs and does not close on its own. I have to stop it via steam or send it a SIGTERM signal.
steps to reproduce:
1. open the game
2. close the game
expected behaviour:
I expect the game to terminate as intended.
when does it happen:
Whenever I use the exit button in the main menu, a keyboard shortcut or the "terminate" button on the below mentioned error popup to close the game, even after multiple reboots and full system upgrades. I do not have this issue on my main rig, it only happens on my laptop. both are running the same OS (Archlinux with Hyprland). This crash/hang happens wether I have mods installed or not.
other information:
My OS gives me the following "not responding" error message.
