Is this bug? Underground pipes not connecting near lava on vulcanus.

the underground pipe is not connecting and the range of connection is reset, am i missing something or is a bug?

No. That is not a bug. One of the tiles in between is a lava tile and underground pipe connections are blocked by lava tiles in between. Specifically it is the tile where if you hover pipe-to-ground, it shows a red square for collision with tile.
