Dedicated server and single player on same machine?

Dedicated server and single player on same machine?

I only have one good computer right now, and I'm hoping to run a dedicated multiplayer server on it, while occasionally playing my own individual games. Can I do that? I'm running Linux Mint on this machine.

Yes, if you make sure they do not share files or directories. Performance will suffer though.
