[2.0.66] Changed Factorio username, is fixing/reverting possible?

Hey,

I'm currently playing with ~10 friends on my own server and we have a couple of 100 hours on the save.
Now I just changed my Factorio username from "Venomazz" to "Veno-" without thinking about the possible consequences of that.
We're playing with the "OARC" mod so that we spawn seperated from each other and when I rejoined I was in a new team without anything and spawned away from my old base without any way of getting there quickly.

Now to my question: is there *any* way to transfer my base from my old account name to my new one or change my new username back to my old one so that the change is reverted? Changing my account name on the website is possible again in 3 months...

I know that it's absolutely my fault, I'm just asking if there is a way to fix/revert that.

I changed my username and now all my items are gone.

If you change your name your save game will see your new name as a new character. You can use a console command to swap your character back in-game:
/swap-players old-username new-username

This should also work with your base in oarc, I hope

Initially it works, but after I reconnect I am reset again and can't switch with "Venomazz" because he already got switched to the prior "Veno-". I guess this is a mod problem then.

presumably the mod configures players based on a local file stored somewhere on the server. Good chance you can just find that file and edit it. Or if it's using directories with UUIDs or something else. I know this happens in minecraft because player data is stored by UUID folders, which makes it kind of obscure to sort through, but very possible in theory (i've never had to try lol)

I'd be surprised if it was more complicated than that tbh, worth asking the mod author if you can't find it yourself in a few minutes.
