When a female demolisher and a male demolisher meet... ok actually you know what, let's not bother with this.
Demolisher will occasionally fight each other for teritory. When one wins, they create babies that will ocupy that new, or unused space.
The reason why I said babies is exactly to ensure we can beat them if they get to the central of the map, aka no excuse, if the babies can prevent you from being on Vulcanus, is at the same level as with bitters on Nauvis
And the ideea of course includes with demolisher sending their babies to areas you removed the demolisher from....and here comes a chain reaction
You beat Demolisher, let's say it's small and just call it sD1. Another Small one, sD2, from a different teritory, will send their babies to ocupy sD1's former teritory. If they success they will fight each other until one will survive and then becoming a small demolisher <- again, to give change to get rid of them via time delayed due to them fighting each other. If it becomes a Small Demolisher and you kill it, then nothing will happen aside from what I just wrote repeating. However, if you kill a baby one (not including them killing each other), then, in this game sD2, will go after you and create destruction and more, essentially, why? because sD2's teritory, now merged with sD1 teritory. Meaning it just got way bigger. So insted of giving it to it's baby, it will claim it for itself because all the babies died.
And as you can imagen, this mean we can't expand to much due to medium and especially large ones, being deathly. And of course, same with any other small demolisher. You just put down tons of gun turrents, add poison, or even create some kind of loop where you, the player, constantly atract the small demolisher as the gun turrents kill it = easy territory. Well, not anymore. If anything, you will want the small demolisher to stay, because if a medium demolisher or large one, send their baby, and you kill them, then you'll deal with a stronger foe.
Optional: baby demolishers's remain can be used as a landfilling the lava, since now, space will pe more pressed.
Optional 2: baby demolisher can hid underground and come out anywhere, including hiding in lava. This will make no space on Vulcanus save anymore unless you have a large area around you base demolisher free.
Optional 3: water turrents.... as in flame turrents but can use water (mods already exist if someone want to try). The ideea is that such turrents won't arm the demolisher, however it will make them leave due to unplesend sensation UNLESS the turrents is ON it's territory, that will trigger the demolisher. However, this water turent's main ideea is: you killed demolisher babies, now a the parent will come to get you, but you hit it with water, so it will leave because (here comes logic): it took NO damage = no one killed the babies, there is no one who killed them, they just died due to water, so that's that, let me leave and go home. Yet, if you attack the demolisher (takes damage) it will not leave, it will ignore the water being thrown at it. So the water turrents are essentially only an expansion prevention, but cannot be used in other way, no slowing down, no damage, nothing aside from making the demolisher not expande after the babies die. Optional for this: the water turrent can be used to get the baby demolisher to go over the ground (dose not work if they are under lava). Making the baby demolisher now vulnarable vs Being underground where nothing can hit them due to Vulcanu's hard soil, including no poison damage
