The ideea has 2 parts.
One is if the chest has a filter and item that don't match the filter is insite it = said item will be removed. Similar to how, on train pick up station (for ores or other stuff you won't have in said network), you use a buffer chest or request chest but with the tick box for "trash unrequested" on. This means any items that are not the one you want to pick up from said station, will be kicked out. And essential this ideea, the button (because I expect mass UPS/FPS drop when used, reason why a button and not automatically), anything that don't match the filter, will be removed.
The second is making all storage chest a request check in a way. More precicly: if any storage chest has, let's say, iron plates, but this one dosen't have a filter for iron plates but another storage chest does have iron plates filter, then this one will be moved from one to the other. Aka it will involve only storage chest, no other chest of any colour. Or of course, just a mass eject everything in storage chest and let the bots handle the mess.
Both are clearly later in game research. Ideea is that this would do wonders with clearing out any contamination, any mix up, any whatever it might be, without you needing to create dedicated request chest for every items. Especially since this is more of a chore with quality. Aka the main thing I can see people using it, will be to sort out quality without needing to create request chest for each one by one

Re: Button to mass check storage chests (the yellow boxes)
This seems like you're trying to make the storage chest "smart" which it isn't supposed to be (being unlocked with robots rather than logistic system).
I noticed you are making a lot of suggestions; can you please use the template for future ones so they are easier to read.
