make heat energy source able to pollute

Heat energy sources do not support producing pollution.

It's a bit annoying for mod that use heat as energy source but still want the entity to pollute like 99% of entity of factorio. Example https://mods.factorio.com/mod/big-heat-furnace want its furnace to pollute but it doesn't

+1. Imo, pollution should be independent of energy sources and the like, everything should be able to pollute regardless of what kind of power source its using.

Yeah, because it's a reactor prototype, like a nuclear reactor. Plus, it generates heat, instead of consuming it.
It is quite strange why stuff powered by heat isn't able to produce pollution though.
