Roboport grid: one port per chunk

Post by Shirasik »

As stated in FFF-374 https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-374 now robot scheduling is stored partially in map chunks:
Each map chunk now stores a list of all busy robots that are estimated to finish on that chunk.
Roboport's logistic area is 50x50 tiles and chunk size is 32x32 tiles. Player can place ports with 50 tiles offset and have full logistic coverage. If such pattern is used then some map chunks will have one roboport and other chunks will not have any. So I wonder if having a roboport in a chunk have any influence on robot-related calculations?

I don't think roboport position plays into this. Expected bot position should be all that is necessary for this feature.
