game randomly crashes

Hello, i've been experiencing multiple crashes lately, the game just freezes for a second and an error pops up, i dont think they are tied to anything ig. autosave or opening the menu, any idea what could be the issue here and how i could fix it? My most recent crash log is attached below, thanks in advance!

im not overclocking my cpu as far as im aware of, but i do have XMP turned on for my ram, could that be the issue? Ive just upgraded to 32gb a few weeks ago, but i havent been playing factorio for a while before that and just started on my new upgraded setup, so I cant be 100% sure it wouldnt have crashed with my old 16gb

It’s a possibility, and something fairly easy to test. It’s crashing while iterating over the world collecting render data. The only time that has crashed in the past has been unstable hardware.

Got it, i will disable XMP and see if the crashes stop, i also forgot to mention the crashes happen absolutely randomly, sometimes they can occur within 5 minutes after the restart, and sometimes the game runs well for hours, figured i shouldve mentioned that

Its been 5 days since ive posted this and i now i can confidently say turning off XMP helped to fix the crashes completely, thanks for helping out!
