[2.0.60] Game fails to start, DirectX error

I've been a frequent Factorio player for the better part of a year now and have had no previous issues running the game on my setup, but after a hiatus of a few weeks I've been unable to start up the game. The game consistently throws an error:

when I start it up.

My setup is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz (8 CPUs) with DirectX 12 installed, using a NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card:

Try the latest driver: https://www.nvidia.com/en-eu/drivers/details/251166/

Running the optional Windows updates relevant to graphics appears to have resolved the issue
