Re: Undo the finish???
Hi. The only way to cancel the countdown at the moment is by editing the save file.

Go to wherever you installed Factorio and open the folder that says 'saves'.Leosmellsgood wrote:FishSandwich wrote:Hi. The only way to cancel the countdown at the moment is by editing the save file.

I'm not sure on Mac, but in the \saves\ folder should have a bunch of ZIP files in them.Leosmellsgood wrote:Im on mac so would i go to finder, but where from there..? its a 40 hour play through i really dont want to lose it.FishSandwich wrote:Go to wherever you installed Factorio and open the folder that says 'saves'.Leosmellsgood wrote:FishSandwich wrote:Hi. Find the zip file that has your world name on it, and extract to anywhere.
I don't know where to go from here, I haven't tried editing saves.

Re: Undo the finish???
You have to un-hide the folder before you can find it.
You can do this with the terminal, which accesses the raw UNIX interface behind OSX. If you don't know how to get the terminal open, search for "terminal" in spotlight.
TO un-hide hidden folders, enter this into the terminal:
defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
Usually, to now see the hidden files, you need to restart your computer, but you can bypass that by entering this into the terminal:
killall Finder
Now for the file location:
~/Library/Application Support/Factorio/saves
You might be able to access that location without showing the hidden files.
And before anyone asks, no, I don't use a mac, my google-fu is just strong.
