[0.11.15] [cube] not opening/updating, Linux
I have updated from 0.11.14 to 0.11.15 and factorio downloaded the updated, closed to restart and never re-opened. i clicked on the icon and still wouldn't open. gave it 5 minutes, still nothing. Switched of pc and restarted. still nothing - any sugestions?
Re: 0.11.15 not opening/updating, Linux
Post the log file or try running factorio from console to see what it outputs and post that.

Re: 0.11.15 not opening/updating, Linux
According to those logs you just update the game. Apparently it doesn't even get overwritten when you try to run the game.
Could you run(that should be the path to your installed binary) in a terminal and post the output here?
Could you run
Code: Select all
$ ~/Factorio/factorio/bin/i386/factorio

Re: 0.11.15 not opening/updating, Linux

Re: 0.11.15 not opening/updating, Linux
Oh great, another GLIBC problem .... What distribution and version are you on? This is the main thread for glibc stuff: https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=7147
Re: 0.11.15 not opening/updating, Linux
I am running Ubuntu 13.04, 32-bit
Re: 0.11.15 not opening/updating, Linux
have the same proplem not starting.
it like the /home/factorio/bin/x64/factorio is't a executable
try a update and a clean download of x64 for linux same proplem
so back to V14.

Re: 0.11.15 not opening/updating, Linux
For now I have down-graded to 0.11.14
Will any future versions of factorio require GLIBCXX then?

Re: [0.11.15] [cube] not opening/updating, Linux
I'm running into the same problem with 0.11.15, running Debian Wheezy x64.
