The advantage is, they're also solar power, so the same day night cycle tradeoff is needed

The big solar panels: This is a solar station with mirrors all around, all aimed at a collector in the center. Basically this (it's 20MW irl): http://www.climatechangebr.org/userimages/gemasolar.jpg
You place the mirrors and the collector individually, and need to make sure to rotate the mirrors correctly.
Since the mirrors use glass, they'd need sand as resource, but maybe stone can represent that...
The big accumulator: This one pumps water up into an artificial lake during the day. During the night, the water is allowed to go down again by gravity, driving dynamos. There is some energy loss: it costs more to pump up the water, than what it gives when going down. However, the amount of energy it can store is huge. Needs water pipes.
What do you think?
