This is inconsistent with how it handles other mods, and probably shouldn't be special-cased, since things like a full wall of this:

So the mods explicitly require the space-age mod or do they require the feature flags for space age features?

In this instance, all the planet mods explicitly require Space Age, but clicking on the checkmark for the mod itself with no mods enabled will not enable Space Age, despite enabling the rest of its prerequisites at the same timeRseding91 wrote: Thu Jun 12, 2025 11:56 am So the mods explicitly require the space-age mod or do they require the feature flags for space age features?
A mod that requires SA feature flags shouldn't be turning on the SA mod in the first place, and indeed doesn't - this is only an issue with mods that have SA as a mod dependency
Perhaps it's just me, but this doesn't feel too intuitive

I see, that does seem wrong. I've changed it for the next release so it will enable built-in mods if they're a requirement when enabling a given player mod.
