Demolishers?

SO me and a buddy just barely made our way to vulcanus the platform is barely holding together and we struggel with even scratching a demolisher what is a good way to fight them? somehow everything just tickels them we dont have nuclear yet and red ammo is the max.....

Check their stats. They have fairly normal amounts of armor but insanely high regeneration. Find a way to do a lot of damage quickly.

It's reasonably easy to defeat the small demolisher and with an appropriate physical projectile damage also the medium ones - with about 80 gun turrets and 2000 red ammo and construction bots to load the turrets.

Place it, let it build and load, lure the demolisher. Try to lure it to the front, not to the side.

Copy blueprint
This blueprint can be created by placing a ghost gun turret, then filling the ammo slot of that turret with ghost red ammo. Then copy that ghost to a phalanx like above. If this phalanx is being built by construction robots, they also load the ammo.

There are many ways to kill demolishers. I prefer using a tank with cannon shells. The first damage upgrade is enough to overpower their regeneration. And if you have two players firing at the same time, it becomes a very easy fight.
