Landing Pad to Space Platform logistics
I am trying to link up my logistics network to read from a drone hub on Vulcanus, send requests to the landing pad, have those requests read by a space platform, and then have that space platform pickup those items from Nauvis and return to Vulcanus. I have tested this with the custom requests and it worked but it won't request my personal logistics. I see the landing pad has the requests via circuit network but the requests aren't getting to the station. What am I missing? Is this just not a thing you can do?

Re: Landing Pad to Space Platform logistics
The station can only send down things it already has. There is no way to make it go fetch things based on requests. You need to send it on a route where it picks up all the things that may be requested so it can then just send them down.

You're correct. That's not something you can do. You cannot communicate between planets. The simplest thing to do is just to have platforms constantly bounce between the planets, carrying whatever might be needed. I have some platforms that go between two planets. I have some that go around all of the planets.

For what it's worth, while the logistics requests don't get transferred, you can create a communication channel through shipping items.
E.g. if you want to trigger the space platform to take some action on request, what you can do is have the platform request an unusual item, like a light armor. Then, when you want to trigger the action, you make a light armor on the planet and send it up in a rocket.
The platform can detect when it has an iron stick in its hub, which you can use in logic. (and then dump the stick overboard to clear out inventory)
Space-to-planet communication can be done too. (and would be a lot more convenient)
