setup: gather thousands (2.6k jellynut in my case) of materials for a recipe that spoils (jellynut processing) and hand craft all of them via shift-click
watch stack after stack get created until the recipe just starts outputting spoilage.
I noticed this while focused on another window (straight to trash for bots to pick up) when i just started crafting spoilage directly.

Thanks for the report. This was talked about in the past and decided that we won’t do anything about it. Mass hand crafting is not the way the game is designed to be played, and a full proper fix would be re-writing the hand crafting logic which nobody wants to do.
So it was decided to stay as is. You can simply have crafting machines do the crafting and it will work as wanted.
