[Twinsen] [1.1.88] Steam Deck keyboard doesn't appear

The new update says that the keyboard should automatically appear when in input fields, but it doesn't happen, I still need to use Steam+X to open keyboard. I have a hunch that it can be connected to the fact that I installed Factorio from GOG. But I still play in normal Steam Deck gaming mode, I just added Factorio as a non-Steam game.

Yes, I do.

So, when I, for example, open auto-logistics tab and try to select any numeric field to input something, nothing happens.

Sorry for the very late reply.
I tried reproducing the issue and it works fine for me.

The keyboard only shows for the Steam version of the game only when ran from Steam Big Picture in console mode. Otherwise the Steam Overlay keyboard is known to have some issues so you can try a restart.

But I don't have a Steam version, I have the version from GOG. Does it mean that I am out of luck with the keyboard?

Otherwise everything matches, I added the game (installed via Lutris from GOG) as a non-steam game, checked the "Steam Overlay" in the properties, and trying to run it in the normal console mode. No keyboards and no support for back buttons (L3, L4, R3, R4) either.

Sorry, I didn't read that you are using the GOG version.
The GOG version of the game does not initialize(or even contain) the Steam API, so it can't tell it to automatically open the keyboard. Either get the Steam version or keep using the Steam+X shortcut.
Depending on how you got the game, you should be able to log into your Factorio.com account and generate yourself a Steam key.
