[2.0.47] Bots still having trouble with mutli-level rail blueprints

We are aware of them, but do not have solutions that don't cause other issues. They go here in order not to take space in the main bug thread list.

[2.0.47] Bots still having trouble with mutli-level rail blueprints

Post by DouglasCarver »

Hi, this 128025 behavior is still occurring for me in 2.0.47.

However, the blueprint does successfully get placed sometimes, so it's inconsistently bad now. Images of successes and failures below.

The setup, blueprint, and save file are all the same

I think this may end up in minor issues/won't fix. The root of the issue (after the fix from the previous report) is that ghost rolling stocks do not have any kind of information about "was I originally on an elevated rail" when placed through a blueprint. They simply attach to the nearest valid set of rails and in this case that happens to move around as rails are built.

Unless something large changes I suspect the answer to this will be "don't do that".
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
