[2.0.46] Rocket silo launches are broken

I think its whenever 2+ ships are requesting the same item, even if request is fulfilled on some of them (and guessing it has to do with the bugfix regarding negative orbital request amounts), the rocket silos will take longer to launch.

Examples in the savefile are the gleba (agricultural science) ships or the promethium ship requesting fusion power cells.

UPDATE(added savefile finally)

Mods shouldn't matter, just use default space age+quality+elevated rail

Second this bug.
My rockets were not leaving either. After reading this bug report i send away all the ships except the one requesting the item and all the rockets launched the moment i did so.

Another thing is that all my rockets will fill up with a requested item even though only 1 rocket is required. The moment i manually launch 1 of the rockets the others will be emptied again by my bots.

i think it has to do with:

1) the fact that silos do not have the tickbox for automatic request ticked

2) there are at least 2 silos configured this way

3) there are at least 2 ships requesting the same item


It seem to me that those 3 need to be combined to recreate the bug.

And it also occurs without the mods in the save game.

I'd like to chime in with my (apparently) variant of this bug.


- No (non-Wube) mods.
- Only happens on Nauvis.
- All silos have "automatic requests" checkbox ticked.
- Silos will request items, the items get delivered, then the silos sit forever (30 minutes observed).
- Some items seem to launch fine (observed: belts, underground belts), some items don't (observed: cliff explosives, blue chips).
- Happens with any number of ships in orbit above Nauvis, regardless of whether they're requesting the same items or not.

Can upload save when ISP fixes my wired internet connection, hopefully in a few days. It would take hours to upload on 3G.

Edit: Further observation seems to indicate this does indeed happen only when there's at least 2 platforms in the same orbit requesting the same item type, regardless of whether the request has been met. This seems to just stop any automatic launches from happening.

Was thinking that it was just mine and happened once but after second time I wanted to report it. Good that it will be fixed

Same issue here.
It's breaking my save and I can no longer return to a working version.
