Ability to edit logistic-robots max_payload_size

I am currently creating a mod where i want to add custom logistic robots that are not effected by the "Worker robot cargo size" technology.
Basically i want to manually set the max_payload_size of a robot at runtime. I already tried to look into LuaInventory of the robot but i dont think there is a way to manually force the stack size on an inventory slot. So would it be possible to add a feature like this to the API ?

The logistics bots will be able to ignore the bonus from the research with by setting the max_payload_size_after_bonus property on their prototype, which I've added for 2.0.67.
