TLDR: import from planet reverts back to "default" planet when logistic group request is updated from inventory
Hello,
I found a "bug" I think.
I have my legendary mall on vulcanus so all my spaceships source there legendary items from there.
On tho's spaceships I have a logistic group called "legendary" which are just the legendary items I craft on vulcanus.
All of these items are set to import from vulcanus. This works great but I also have this logistic group in my inventory so that I always have those items in my inventory
the problem I found is that when I change the amounts of requested items the import planet changes back to Nauvis on the spaceships.
so everytime I want more inserters in my inv and change the requested amount I have to remember to go to the logistc group on a spaceship and change the location of import back to Vulcanus since it automatically changed to Nauvis (for items like assemblers, inserters bots, etc)
I hope this was a good explanation of my problem. I understand that it is quite minor but it dous annoy me and I dont think it is a intented behavior
(english not first language)
thank you for reading this

Re: import from planet reverts back to "default" planet when logistic group request is updated from inventory
I agree, having to re-update the Default Import Planet after having changed it is a bit annoying.
I have sort-of-solved this by using a separate Logistic Group for each "type of item" (one for Logistics/Inserts/Belts/Pipes; another for Assemblers/Foundries/etc; a third one for Military supplies....). Then I use the "Multiplier" to set how much of the Request to bring me- 1x, 2x, or 5X if building a big section of base. The Ship(s) in the middle will still have "1X" as normal, but you'll get brought a Stockpile of resources. Another trick I use is to only craft Legendary items on my Legendary Mall Platform - so they can just be airdropped right to me.
Good Luck!
