TL;DR
When hovering a turret, highlight enemy units in its range (as is already the case for the railgun).
What?
The railgun turret seems to have a unique feature: when you hover it, enemies in its range are highlighted with a red square:
For some reason, most (all?) other turret do not do this. I think it'd be great to do this for all turrets.
Why?
That would make it much easier to see, for instance, how deep into a rocket turret's range the big asteroids are making it.

Re: Highlight enemy units when hovering any turret
I think the red squares are "not" the ennemy in range, i think the range is the green cone meaning the rail gun can't TARGET things outside the range, however the projectile piercing effect goes much further, but an ennemy that would be that far wouldn't be targeted.
For tesla turrets the red square would be difficult to draw because sometimes the electric arc jumps further than the green overlay.

Re: Highlight enemy units when hovering any turret
Hm good point, some of these are beyond the range. I am not sure what the red squares show then.
Re: Highlight enemy units when hovering any turret
red squares are things that "could get destroyed by the turret", but some of them are "too far" to be directly targeted, they only risk destruction because they are in the range of the turret projectiles, but not in the range of "targetting"
a bit like tesla turret can kill things outside their direct range if the arc bounces several time to "extend" the range, rail guns projectile can extend much further away when they are shot than the precise target selected by the turret.
